When Elodie was born the in-laws offered to take Bo on a British seaside holiday so a) they could spend some time with their only grandson who lives 200 miles away and b) we could spend some time alone with Elodie to bond and relax (if that’s possible with a newborn.)
The weather was gorgeous, as she was born in the summer, and since we don’t live far from the Yorkshire Moors we decided to head up to Goathland – Home of ‘Heartbeat’ and Hogsmeade railway station in the Harry Potter films. Continue reading
I used to have super long hair.
It was ridiculously thick and curly.
Then GHDs were invented and my life changed forever – well at least my hair did.
And 10 years ago a hairdresser decided, “Your hair’s too long to be straightening it every day” and chopped it off. Thanks for that.
I’m always looking for new recipes and I like to try new things out but I’ve got to be honest – I like things quick and simple and don’t want to have to buy a load of snazzy ingredients that I’ll never use again just for one meal. So, as boring as this may be, when I post a recipe on here I’ll try to make it practical, simple, healthy family food.
